During the week of the Canso Regatta, the community comes together to host all kinds of fun activities for the entire family to enjoy!
Regatta Parade!
Come one, come all to enjoy one of the most beautiful displays of our town’s pride! The parade is back and bigger than ever, you won’t want to miss it!
Teddy Bear Jamboree
A long-standing tradition is the teddy bear jamboree, and it’s just as cute as it sounds! It’s an event created to celebrate health and wellness for young children. A chance for social interaction to help them learn, develop, and grow from interacting with their peers.
The Midway!
Several games of chance to play, which often includes booths with prizes such as cakes, candy, and other gifts! There are also many vendors selling crafts and gifts, and inflatables for the kids to enjoy! Come prepared for some SPLASHING!
Color Run!
This an untimed event where runners are doused with different colored powder along the way. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color. We recommend bringing sunglasses or goggles and a mask to wear to prevent excessive inhalation.
Boat Races
Due to issues with the dories, the boat races for Regatta 2024 are canceled until they can be resolved.
